A moment with Ruby's Lube creator, Tracy Gibson | Business
We heard from Tracy Gibson, the owner of Ruby’s Lube, recently about her product that won the Chairlift Pitch Contest. She wanted to let us know that her website is now online for people to learn more about the anti-chafing balm.
Curious minds wondered if she kept a straight face while pitching her product for eight minutes.
Gibson responded in an email, “All I can say is, Ruby does have her playful side.”
Gibson also said that she won the chairlift pitch contest because her product was already in Boise and local health food stores in skin care isles.
She wrote, “Being vetted in a market gave them confidence that I could follow through with the new packaging for athletes.”
From Gibson’s website she writes: “...its uses aren't limited to athletes; use Ruby's on dry, callused feet and elbows -- or to soothe a baby's bottom, massage sore muscles or indulge in a romantic evening.”
